Preferences

These settings live in the app on your computer, not the scanner. Unlike the other Device pages, nothing here is written to the radio.

• Hit Minimum Duration: 0.5 to 10 seconds. The shortest a transmission must last for the app to record it as a hit in your activity log. Raise it to filter out brief static bursts; lower it to catch quick exchanges. It's an app-side logging filter, separate from how the scanner behaves.
• Data Retention: 30 Days, 90 Days, or 1 Year. How long the app keeps its own activity and analytics logs before automatically deleting the old ones.
